Journal:[personal profile] bunnybrat
PB:Chibi-Usa
History: Please to click here

Presentation: The most obvious thing about Chibi-Usa is her hair smile, she is a very bright and cheerful girl and will help those around her with gusto. She is also a princess so she has also been raised to be polite and calm to everyone around her, which she almost always manages to do. That doesn’t mean however she’ll let people walk over her. She has been shown to be highly argumentative towards Usagi, and will put her foot down when she or her friends are being bullied.

As much as she tries to always maintain her princess ways, she also can get very excited about ‘girly things’. She adores lovely dresses, going to festivals and horses. And obviously has a predisposition to the colour pink. She also can become rather bratty when faced with an opportunity that doesn’t please her, which usually happens when Usagi and/or Mamoru are around as being her future parents she has a tighter connection to them and therefore bring out the ‘real child’ in her like most kids tend to act around their parents when they’re comfortable with them.

Chibi-Usa is also a highly caring young girl. Often putting the needs of those around her before her own. There have been instances where she has put herself in the way of mortal danger in order to protect a friend, in some cases because it’s someone dear to her that is about to cause the danger to someone else. One instance was Sailor Saturn was preparing to attack Nehelenia with an attack that would kill both Nehelenia and herself. Despite being in an enormous amount of pain because she was technically being unmade at the time, Chibi-Usa wrapped her arms around Saturn pleading for her to stop, because she didn’t want her to kill someone no matter how evil they were, let alone let herself die in the process of it.

It’s a process she’s done time and again, and never regrets a moment of it, because for Chibi-Usa, friends are important, Life is important, and no matter how important you think the cause is you shouldn’t through either away to save them. Chibi-Usa has probably never heard the phrase “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of a few” and if she has she’’s pointedly ignored it to protect her friends. However, as much as she believes that, she will be the first to offer herself up to spare those friends and lives from harm

Motivations: Love is probably the biggest thing that drives Chibi-Usa. It was love (and guilt) over her mother’s predicament that lead her to go to the past to seek Sailor Moon and her Sailor Senshi out. Its love that’s given her the power and strength to be able to not only go back in time but become a senshi herself and come up against some terrible odds in order keep what is important to her safe.

It’s also this love that has made her a target, as that along with her pure-hearted dreams which lead to Helios to hide away in her dreams, which lead to her nearly being killed in order to both draw him out and get him to obey Nehelenia, whims, As well as have her used against Usagi leading to having her thrown off a stupidly high and rising platform in order to bring Usagi pain.

At the same time, she also wonders if she’s a coward at times, because she was unable to say or do the right thing at the appropriate times, however most of that is due to her being a child and not understanding that sometimes mistakes happen, and you’re allowed to be scared in scary situations.
Like Usagi she can also become stubborn of things that look like they don’t matter, which comes down to her being a very sensitive soul which can cause her to be upset easily, however she tends to be a lot less dramatic about it than Usagi, opting to keep it to herself and brood on it usually alone.

Being left alone is also a large motivator for Chibi-Usa. She is an only child and before coming to the past, she often felt like she wasn’t that important to her family, and the kids her age tended to be overly careful of her because she was a princess or just openly mock and tease her for being so young and ‘not as cool as her mum’. So the thought of her being not only alone but possibly unloved as well is a terrifying thought to her.

Setting: Both Chibi-Usa and Usagi are all about saving and protecting lives. As such, Chibi-Usa is going to be some kind of horrified to be here, and pale over the fact she’s being told to murder for other peoples entertainment.

SAMPLES

First Person Thread: An example of a first person post, at least 200 words minimum. Feel free to use introspection and scene setting if your character is not chatty. Please use one of the two following prompts:

For Tributes

"Please use the device to the right to record your current feeling on your loss. Once you are finished, someone will be along to take you back to the Capitol." On cue, a small recording device starts to chirp at Chibi-Usa’s side. She blinks at it for a moment, then looks around the room. It’s cold, clinical and lonely and she can feel herself shiver just from being there.

She picks up the device, contemplates it then gives a deep slow sigh.

“Um. I’m relieved? Is everyone else okay, I was with someone and…” She swallows, shaking her head willing herself to believe that they were okay. “I don’t want to do this again. It’s horrible, and cruel. Why are you making us do that to each other? Why can’t you just place monopoly, or word games?” She sniffles, remembering those she saw dying in front of her.

“It’s so unfair. You can’t keep hurting people like this!” She drops to the floor, clutching the device as if letting go would remove any possible answers as she fights not to cry. “Why would you do this?”

Prose: 200 word minimum. To mimic the spirit of capriciousness within this game, please write your third person sample based on the following prompt:

Chibi-Usa stumbles into the room as she’s forced in and looks around in surprise.she worries her hands together for a moment before forcing them to her side and walks to the centre of the room and looks up at the game makers. She looks scared but determined.
“I don’t know how to use weapons.” She starts off with, puffing out her chest a little more. “But I am not going to hurt people! They all have hopes, and dreams and I’m not going to do anything that will cause them to lose either of them.” She looks around again as if maybe she would see that this is all some kind of illusion and she was actually in her room about to be woken up by Usagi screaming about being late for class again. She waited and nothing happened.

“Please! Can’t there be another way? Fighting really can’t be the answer… Can it?” She fidgets with her shirt sleeve, really wishing that they had let her keep her brooch, she new she didn’t really have any power to stop them, even as Sailor Chibi Moon, but there was a strong feeling of safety and strength in that little heart shaped brooch for her. He face goes from determined to scowl.

“I will not kill anyone!”

What is your character scored: Chibi-Usa would score a 4. She has really no marketable skill as a fighter and on her own would die incredibly easily. But she has a sincerity and warmth to her that would endear herself to the crowds watching her, as well as her out of arena exuberance. Without that she’d be a 1.

Additional information: Question specifically for certain character types. Feel free to ignore if it does not apply to your character type. Please answer all that do (For example, a past victor AU would answer both their question, and the past victory question)
